FAQs
Does Holistic Health PT take insurance?
We are in-network with Regence and Premera.
We are out of network with other insurance plans and would collect payment at the time of service via cash, credit card, health savings account or flexible savings account. A superbill can be provided that the client can submit to their insurance for reimbursement.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
In Washington state, we have direct access to physical therapy so you do not need a doctor’s referral. However, it is important to have a medical provider managing your overall health care. It is also helpful for us to work together with your medical provider to give you the best care.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that clients cancel at least 24 hours in advance of their appointment. Cancelling later than that leaves a hole in the therapists day that is difficult to fill. A late cancellation will be a $100 fee.
If I am coming in for pelvic health and I have my period, should I still come?
Internal pelvic floor work is still possible while an individual is having their period, but would be left up to the client’s comfort level. The visit could also focus on exercise and external manual work.
Can I do Health Coaching and Physical Therapy at the same time?
Paying out of pocket is a great way to combine PT and Health Coaching since we aren’t tied to the regulations of insurance. If you are using insurance, coaching techniques will still be used, but if you need a deeper focus on developing healthy habits around sleep, regular movement, healthy eating and stress management it may be most beneficial to schedule separate Health Coaching sessions.
Are Health Coaching sessions covered by insurance?
Coaching is not currently covered by insurance, but you can use your Health Savings Account to Flexible Spending Account.
